Karen, this is such a beautiful birthday card with the striking sentiment on a piece of vellum! The background paper is so pretty, and your flower is beautiful. I really like your use of criss-crossed twine in place of the strip on the sketch! Great response to the challenge, my special friend!! HUGS!!!

That's a really cool idea to use the vellum, so you have that element of the sketch, but still see more of the dp - just like you said on your blog. Cool flower, too. I gave up using flowers on my cards because I'm not good at making them look like they even belong there...
