For today's Alphabet challenge and the letter "x"!
Did a watercolor bg and die cut the oval applying my brown Memento ink directly to the die. Wanted a truly dark brown color and the only way to get it was with direct application!
Colored my image with Copics and chalked the bg! TFL!

You achieved some nice shades of browns on that pretty bird, Ann! You did well by adding the blue around him....love the way you did your bg piece! Very eye-catching creation!
I have blue eyes and learned quite some time ago that using dark brown eyeliner brings out the blue best. Just a tidbit of info. for you. To me that's why the blue around the bird looks so pretty and makes him shine~

You have done a great job on your Xenops, wonderful coloring. They are such a beautiful bird. I love the blue around the image, something I always seem to do. I like the look of it, and your bg as well.

Clever idea for Letter X. Majestic bird in the rich browns. The die-cut frame and sponging highlight him as an xtra special bird. Well done for Letter X. TFS
