Another card for Janelle's MIX212 challenge, mixed media, petals and metal. OK, so poinsettias are strictly speaking bracts not petals but I trust they count as I badly need to make some Christmas cards.
Background - stuck aluminium foil to a card base, embossed, and added lots of acrylic paint, a green, a light blue, black and copper. Added some gold around the edges when it was dry.
Cuttlebug corners cut from black card, rubbed with Craft-T luster rub-ons and then some Stickles.
Image stamped on white card and coloured with pencils. Sponged to add aging, Stickles around the edge after stamping with a sand stamp to add texture.
I wrapped gold mesh ribbon around the card base, and then decided to also add a little frayed cheesecloth. Image panel popped up on foam, and I added a die-cut sentiment using TH dies and some gold foiled card.

Oh, wow! This is so far past gorgeous I can't think of the word! The card front is incredible, and you achieved such a wonderful vintage feel with the image. If I had created this, I don't think I could part with it!

I just love this, Sabrina. This was the first card I saw after being MIA from the gallery for awhile.....wow!!!! I love tarnished metal everything. I have some funky metal birds on my fireplace. Your bg looks like real metal that has been left to the wind, rain and years to age to perfection. Just gorgeous, my friend.

Sabrina, this is a fabulous showpiece! The colors used in your embossed metal provides a wonderful patina. Love the burnished effect edging on your poinsettia. The frayed cheesecloth adds an organic glamour to the overall design.
I agree with jodylb, I couldn't part with it either.
