I have been loving all the beautiful watercolor cards you all have been posting. This is my first time trying it myself. At first, I painted some freehand watercolor backgrounds but wasn't just loving them. But then I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and oh, boy, I love the effect. I just wet my watercolor paper with a brush and then stamped the pink, yellow and green. It really gives the illusion of hand-painting! Let it dry completely. I used my heat tool to dry it quickly (since I had it out to emboss). The watercolor paper curls up some, so I ran it through my Cuttlebug to 'iron' it out a bit.
I was surprised that this was a pretty easy card to make. The right tools (aka the Gorgeous Grunge set!!) make all the difference sometimes! I can't wait to try with different color combos!

Beautiful. Love the watercolor look you achieved with the stamps. Thanks for sharing how you did it. The flowers stamped on top look great. Lovely accents. Well done! Keep these awesome cards comin'! TFS
