Every time I think I can't handle a technique challenge it turn s out to not be as difficult as it looks. This fancy technique is really easy, but I do need a little more practice. And can you see where I messed up? The very first pieces I laid down didn't have the fold side in the right place. Oops!
These are all coordinating papers from a Colorbok paper pack called French Prep. I think the blue might be a little out of place, but I needed some sort of color to my card. I found this pattern on Pinterest and it was supposed to spiral into the center of the star. Not sure where I went wrong, but this was a fun fun technique that I will definitely try again!

Iris folding definitely takes some practice - when I do mine I only tape down 1 side so I can keep peeking to make sure the swirls are laying right before I glue or tape
That said I think you did a bang up job on your star - The swirls look correct to me -
