The Technique Lover's challenge for this week was to do Iris Folding. This was my first attempt to do it and it wasn't as hard as I had anticipated. Now I wonder why I waited so long to try it.
The Happy Birthday is a Art Neko Vertical stamp.
I just divided it so I could put half of it on one side and half on the other.
Thanks, for taking a look.

Boy, you are surely a brave crafter!! I have seen Iris folding before, but never wanted to tackle it - YOURS is Magnificent!! The kimono looks perfect with the papers you chose and the lettering down the sides lends an air of the 'Asian" look. Really awesome, Shirley!!

What a gorgeous Iris-fold kimono...choice of patterned paper such a great match for its Japanese flavor, not to mentioned the love gold embossed "happy birthday" looks like calligraphy or Japanese writing.
