Another card for today's F4A and Mix challenges and for this week's sketch challenge. This one is off to New York to my son and his wife.
I embossed the Black Magic paper and sanded to get to the pink undertones. I sponged on Distress ink to brighten the color, still not pink enough, then the Magenta pigment ink. Stamped and colored the turtle, then die cut the heart. Sponged the edges for contrast and mounted on the pp square. Adhered the panels to a hot pink card base and added some matching punched hearts. Dressed the hearts up with a glitter gel pen to coordinate with the pp. TFL

Carla, your little turtle is adorable, although slow. The process to get those pink hearts on the black was well worth it. That is an awesome background!
