This sketch was a challenge. Took me some time to come up with this plan. As I sat in my craft room thinking about what could be flying out of the box, I remembered this coloring page that I've been wanting to use for a while. What's more fun than a box full of shoes?
So I made a box using part of a thank you card that someone gave me. I really liked the pink & gold polka dots and I'm glad I saved it because doesn't it look like a shoe box? I also cut a small strip of brown to make the flap of the box. Then I colored the shoes that are flying out of the box to use them as my "hearts" for the sketch. And of course it really needed some gold glitter cardstock underneath the panel to bring the fabulousness all together.
I printed out the inside that says "And if that wish is for a bottomless box of shoes, I hope you'll share!"

This is awesome. I love the shoes. You better watch out, Ms Lisa, aka: ShoeGirl might want the shoes. Bless her heart, she can't be trusted when shoes are involved. Teeheehee.

Wouldn't that be terrific to have a bottomless box of beautiful shoes??!! Darling card and I like how you selected the 8 shoes to be colored and left the rest as line drawings, Jen.
