How much fun is this? But those rotary dial phones were around later than the 50s. That is what my parents had and, unfortunately, if I was somewhere else and needed to call home, our number had a 0 and two 8s in it! It took SO long for the rotary to return to home so I could the next number - lol. So impatient! That is a fabulous phone image. Another funny note about those is that both of my teenage daughters LOVE those rotary phones!

Great D card. Love those papers and that retro 50's die is so cool! I had one of these phones too. And I remember party lines too....Wow, times have changed!

Ah, those were the days, but we didn't have a desk phone. We had an old wall phone that had a horn you spoke into and a listening device on a cord. It was also a party line with several of our neighbours. But the 50's were good times for us as children. All we had to worry about was the two mile walk to school and helping out with the chores on the farm.
