Tried Lydia's fun, new technique from today's Mixability Challenge, Glue Stick Resist. This month's Bible Journaling theme is love. I drew on my heart with a SU glue stick then used Crimson Plaid Mixed Media opaque gel paint scraped over the margin. I dried before and after with a hair dryer. I wet a paper towel to wipe the area over my resist. I wrote in white Sharpie paint pen. I stamped my verses over the bottom in Versafine Onyx but goofed the first time. So, I wiped off the verse and added some more paint focused on the ink that didn't wipe off. I dried and stamped again then added some accent hearts with the Sharpie.

Gosh, I'd never have guessed that you had to stamp the bottom twice, it looks perfect. I guess it must have wiped well off the paint! And for me, your choice of red speaks of Christ's blood shed in love for us, very effective with the hearts and message of love.
