Another just-for-fun card. I found a half-dead bumble-bee in the sitting room one day last week and revived him with honey. I set him outside after he'd sucked up a good bit, and next time I checked he was gone .
Image stamped on white card and coloured with Inktense pencils. Sponged around the edges and spritzed with water.
For my background, I took a sheet of card and used yellow Brushos with a tiny sprinkle of black. I wanted to use acrylic for the stripes but my paint had gone awol so I just had to sponge - to make up for that, I added black sponging and EP fround the edges.
Sentiment was stamped on a scrap from my desk and layered up on an embossed oval.
I cut leaves from two shades of green and arranged them in the corner, adding some little punched daisies with Enamel Accents for the centres. The wings are Stickled up for some sparkle. Image panel, sentiment and some of the leaves popped up on foam.

Sabrina, your 'Bee'loved card makes me smile as does your story of saving a bee.
Your striped bg look oks great and I especially like the fussyness around the perimeter, comparable to a bumblebee.
Your fairy-cat-mother image is colored beautifully and the glossy wings is a nice texture. The foliage adds another dimension to the whimsical image. The bees need all the help we can give and it's heartwarming to know your bee received a little help from a friend.

Very cute, I love the background and the cute image with the glitter on the wings. This card does make you smile so that is definitely a good sentiment to stamp!
