This is my sample for this week's Tickle a Teapotter challenge, which you will find HERE.
Actually I hadn't planned the theme when I requested lighthouses in my helping hand recently, it's just that I love lighthouses! So I was delighted to use one of my RAK images from Jacqueline on this instead of one of the lighthouses stamps I own myself. I love that this is a real one - it says Nova Scotia.
It was stamped on watercolour paper so I used Inktense pencils to colour it, distressed the edges and popped it up on a mat layer.
I used cream card as the base for my center step card, making it about an inch wider than in the linked tutorial to accommodate the rope borders and the width of the lighthouse and sentiment.
Most of the papers are BG Basics, I stamped the rope on the dp for the side panels and coloured it with pencil. The sentiment is also stamped on DP. The shells were stamped with Sepia on white card and coloured by sponging with distress inks. The little hangers for the lighthouse are actually tassels from a banner die set. The long spiral shell is popped up on foam tape.

You did a beautiful job Sabrina...this is such a pretty card and I like to think I contributed to its creation :-) The soft watercolor looks fantastic - like a serene, quiet morning as the sun is rising. Hugs to you my friend.

You did an amazing job with your Nova Scotia lighthouse...wow..I love this as a center step card. Your embellishments of the little hangers, the shells, and stamped rope coordinate so well with the image...Fab card!! Thanks for the challenge..I'm still in the "thought" stage..
