G'day is the most popular greeting in the land downunder and the expression "no worries" is probably the most commonly used saying. Aussie are generally very laid back which is a good thing otherwise we might start to think about all the deadly creatures that live here.
Here's Jacko having a nap in his hammock surrounded by koalas (courtesy of a kids colouring page and Prismacolour pencils).
The background is the simple Smack & Squirt technique - smack distress ink pad onto al foil, squirt on a lot of water then sponge the inky water onto cardstock using a foam blending tool). I only used Salty Ocean and Mowed Grass.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in the fun.

Oh, how cute!!! I love the tree branches climbing around to the top. The koalas are the best! I will never forget the first time I saw a photo of a koala when I was 8! I fell in love. I actually purchased a poster a koala from scholastic. I held onto that Koala poster until it was worn and torn! ( I think it was the only time my parents ever bought me an item from scholastic!) Fun sentiment too!

How adorable is this!! Those koalas are super cute and I love how you have them sitting on those branches. And your hammock guy is hilarious....the socks, the bony knees, that bulbous nose..HA!! And of course your world ending logic makes total sense....Really fun card!

G'day Miss Susie, I love your card! You brought the perfect sentiment. Jacko and the koalas are colored perfectly and you brought your marvelous smack and squirt to the party. I think it's hilarious that koalas snore. One more thing to look forward to

Thank you so much for providing a genuine Australian sample for the challenge today, Susie. I have a story a bit like Angie's in that your koalas (oops, nearly called them bears!!) remind me of a birthday card I got when I was about ten. I do believe it's still floating around the house having survived multiple moves and many years. I love the way you Greece perched them in the tall trees. What a great sentiment too.
