I combined Dina's MIX208 Back to the office challenge with a birthday card I need to mail next week. Not very adventurous with my envelope part, but I have a few scraps left to try something more arty if I have time.
Sponged the base with inks. Stamped image with Versafine. Spritzed with water. Coloured the image and added a bit of colour round the lettering too. I used white paint to make the sheep properly white, so that's a second medium. And I rubbed luster rub-ons along my die-cut border.
I did stamp a card base with texture stamps, but prefer the clean look of this one. This goes to a friend - well, it's more her husband's "theme tune" song, but we sang a version of The Lord is my Shepherd at their ordination about fifteen years ago, and almost every time we visit we are asked to sing it again for them.

That is a great image and verse and it looks prefect on its own but your liner paper border adds just a litle something extra...I really like how this turned out and I'm sure your friend will, too.

Beautiful card for your friend, Sabrina. I like the way that you illustrated the 23rd Psalm. You get better liner paper in business envelopes in Ireland than I ever receive with my bills here. : ) In fact, I had no business envelopes to use for the challenge.

Oh, Sabrina, this is beautiful, and I love the story behind this beautiful Psalm and song. I know it's going to be loved, and I really love your distressing and coloring. And those little sheep are darling! How beautiful it is that we have a precious Lord and Shepherd. Warm hugs, my friend! xoxo
