For today's sketch challenge, I decided to use the heart as my backdrop.
I stamped & watercolored the birds then fussy cut.
Watercoloring is still outside of my comfort zone, however I do like the softness of the birds. The colors are more prominent IRL.
I used display paper to fussy cut the heart & turquoise CS for border. The same papers were used for the sentiment and using diecuts for the shape. Sentiment was stamped in versamark ink and heat embossed with turquoise.
Background paper is Fiber paper. Finished off with 3 red sequins.
I'm giving this Valentine's card to my dear son & daughter-in-law.
