This card was fairly quick to create since I had a great sketch and the theme was already specified. The card base is SU Whisper White. The red glitter panel was to have a border wider on the top than bottom. I used DCWC's Glitzy Glitter Paper Stack to cut a 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" panel.
The white panel with the sentiment was 4-1/4"x 1-1/2". I used an off-center heart punch to create the hole to allow seeing the red glitter paper underneath. The sentiment was stamped using Stampin' Up's! "Wonderful Words II" set with Versamark ink. The inked word was then sprinkled with red embossing powder and heat set with a Heat Tool.
The sentiment panel was then mounted atop the glitter panel using Adhesive Foam Strips to raise it up and give more interest to the open heart I had punched. The white panel was intentionally placed so the top margin of the red glitter paper was wider than the bottom (per the FMS sketch).
The bottom of the card was further spiced up with three different sizes of hearts punched from the red glitter paper. These were attached with Mini Glue Dots.
Thanks to Cindy at FMS for the great sketch, and to Libby for the theme and color combo!
