I started by doing a watercolor wash in shades of blue on my masterboard, then stamped on the Italian poetry followed by an assortment of random stamps to form a collage. Colored in some of the images with markers and added stickles to the flower centers & buds and butterfly wings. after cutting my 3 panels I edged each piece with Silver Wink of Stella Then mounted on white , Navy and pearl grey stock.

I really love the collage you made, Linda. So pretty with the water color wash bg.

What a sweet oldfashioned feel this has, Linda. I always love text on backgrounds, and I really like the vivid butterflies and flower contrasting with the more vintage colours of the postal elements.
