I had scraps of the design paper (which I absolutely love!), and kept playing with them until I had a card laid out. I sprayed the card with gold glitter spray, die cut ornaments from scraps, added a center motif to the larger ornament, mounted the smaller ornaments on dimensionals. Used some of the scrap on the Dazzles sheet to make glitter tops on all three ornaments. Used some gold glitter dots from the Dazzles in flower centers. Used Dazzles stars with teensy gems in centers of the smaller ornaments. Added Dazzles Merry words. Fussy cut flowers and bits from scrap, and added them to the center section of the card, put tiny gems on the flowers. Finished with small ornaments in 2 corners from the Dazzles sheet.
I just LOVE that paper! I had scraps from making another Christmas card with it, and wanted to make something with the scraps.

Way to use every little bit of the paper you love, Pat. And it is great paper, I agree. I love the font of those Dazzle Merry stickers....I think you had fun with this one, figuring out all these delicious little details that you have made on this card.

I would say that this card is a "Pat Masterpiece!" I really did a double take when I saw your beautiful card because my grandmother had this exact fabric on the huge picture window in her dining room and she used to hang gold ornaments from it at Christmas time. After I recovered from this little shock, then I had a fun walk down memory lane so that was a nice little bonus on a Friday the 13th! I agree with Shirl, just reading your description I can tell that you were really having fun engineering this card "just so" as I say. I love that. Your ornaments and dazzles complement this wonderful dsp so perfectly! Hugs! ~Karen.
Hey! Finally made it! Beautiful card! World Market in Wichita, Kansas shopper-love, love the sparkly paper I bought there-have already used some of it for Valentine's Day cards
