For this week's make your own stamp wtui challenge.
I'm a Duck. U of Oregon webfoot, alma mater-- The Oregon State University's mascot is Bucky Beaver. In-state rivalry, civil war and all that. I'd figured you'd have to be a sorry fool to attend there. (just kidding-- The real issue is udub.)
The beaver image was clipped from a newspaper advertisement, rub-transferred to the eraser, then carved all around. I goofed with the teeth. Looking at it, mirror image, I thought it was a dumb tongue, and carved the notch out. Eh-- just draw it back in with a sharpie.

I was just going to say you could upload it to the technique gallery but then I saw you already did! My attempt at stamp carving was much more simplistic. You did a great job!

Cute beaver..I think you did a terrific job..that tail looks like it was difficult. I like your woodgrain bg for this...fits in perfectly with your little guy.

This truly is clever, Brenda. Like how you used the newspaper ink to transfer the image. Great carving, and the sentiment is cute. Really you are a Duck fan! Actually this card made me smile. Great job. Tfs.

Oh, brilliant work, Brenda!! I bet the newsprint beaver was easy to transfer, too. I'm in admiration of your carving skills, and love the punny sentiment.
