This is a thank tyou card for my dear friends who surprised me on Saturday with a bouquet of roses and lilies. The wrapping paper around the bouquet was so pretty, I decided to use it on the thank you card. It is a mauvy pink rose paper. I decided to combine it with some violet coloured dp and this simple card came together quickly. It is also for this week's Stamp to Save challenge .... S2S17B to layer it up. I used 4 layers and added the die cuts after that.

Oh this IS Pretty paper and so nice that you could use it on the card you are giving to your friends, Ina! Love the sweet dragonfly with the pearls to make this even more feminine!

This is so pretty! And how much fun to use something from the gift to make the thank you. I like to do that with wedding invitations to personalize the wedding card I give the couple. Very pretty paper and a lovely card.

Ina, what a wonderful idea...taking the wrapping paper and making a thank you card. And not just a thank you card ... a gorgeous thank you card. I love the colors. Your friend is going to love this.

I love your idea of using your wrapping paper on this. I think like that too, but although I do save things I like, I have yet to do it. Although I did save a piece of twine once and have used that. So glad this came together fast. The rose paper was what I noticed first and was going to comment on it before I even read what you wrote. this is a lovely thank you card, Ina.

Very pretty! The paper is so lovely; I can see why you re-purposed it. The violet dragonfly is a nice touch, along with the pearls. The die-cut sentiment is very nice for a thank you card. What sweet friends you have! TFS

Your re-purposed paper is beautiful, and I can see why you kept it and used it...it plus all your layers makes this card so pretty. The little dragonfly and pearls are just the right additions.
