I always end up making an altered book for Robin's F4A challenge. I needed to make a holiday gift for a friend and did not have time to make the gift and a sample for the F4A challenge. This is my usual process of cutting the middle of a book out using a box cutter. Then I find a variety of digital images to create my scene and adjust the size before printing them out. Everything is colored with copics. I hope you have time in this busy holiday week to play along in Robin's fun challenge. TFL, Francie

Oh my gosh! Seeing this in real life must just be amazing! You have it ALL on here, dimension, artistry, paint, creativity. Those lights look real, Francie! This had to take a long time to compose and complete it. Geez, this is fabulous! I've never seen anything like this before. What an artist you are!

Nancy said it all...what an artist you are!!! Francie this is jaw dropping amazing, I can only imagine the reaction from your friends. They could always switch the snowman and replace him with a rabbit....and keep it on display until Easter. Wow I love this to bits. Merry Christmas my friend.

I always think these look so amazing, Francie. What a unique and wonderful gift. And what a magical winter woodland scene. I especially love those little Christmas lights on the cabin roof. I hope you have a lovely family break over Christmas with time to relax and enjoy yourself.
