Since I totally blew off VSN when it was "live", I guess I'm doing my catching up starting at the end! :-) This card is for Jacqueline's challenge, Hey! Chingedy ching! -- to create a pop-out card with a critter on it! When I saw this challenge, I knew it was perfect for my newest purchase, In The Meadow, which I hadn't even put together yet to use! And I needed a birthday card for my cousin Debbie, who lives "up north", & has a LOT of deer in her backyard!
I stamped the deer on Crumbcake, then used the Spellbinders die to cut around them. I cut three panels out of Cranberry Crisp CS. I applied the Alabaster Chalk Ink directly to the Woodgrain EF, put in two of the panels, & ran it thru the Cuttlebug.
I stamped the trees with the chalk ink on the last panel, and added the Happy Birthday in chocolate chip ink at the top. This is the middle panel.
I "popped" the deer cut-out on the pop-out portion with dimensional tape. That's it! A fun challenge, love this fold--so easy to do! Will have to use it again!
