This is for the Alphabet Challenge Letter M with Double Challenge to make it Merry. This mouse image and the red die-cut frame were sent to me by annesforte3/Ann, who just happened to guest host the Alphabet Challenge today - Letter M. Thanks Ann! The image was slightly too large for the oval die that would fit nicely on the red frame. So, I did an out-of-the-box technique. I placed the die on the image and lightly traced over the holly leaves area so I could tell where the die would cut. Then I fussy cut around the holly leaves that went beyond the cutting line of the die. Carefully I placed the cut out portion on top of the die before laying down on the image for cutting. I doodled some swirls coming out from the leaves & berries and added some white chalk dots on the mouseÂ’s blanket to match the ribbon. Put glitter on the stocking cuff and heel & toe areas. Used a vellum scrap in the background and raised the image on Dimensionals. Added the pearls and ribbon. Heat embossed Merry Christmas greeting in silver. Fun card to make. Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday celebrations to you. Make it merry! TFL

Oh my, this is absolutely the dearest card. And so bright and festive too. I have not used wild wasabi lately. I am going to go look at mine. It goes well with the real red. And I do love that real red diecut on this too. Great crafting outside of the box on your image!
