It's Thursday and this week's Ways to Use It is all about cookies! Hope you'll play along.
I've missed the last two Technique challenges, and I really wanted to try both of them. Thought it would be fun to combine them with my cookie challenge!
I printed the cute digi cookie stand, colored and fussy cut. Embossed the cardbase with bricks and colored the mortar white. Die cut a scalloped edge to create an awning and assembled. I followed the Pop and Twist technique for inside the card. I stamped and colored the images and added some sequins to cover up a runaway gel pen. TFL

Carla this is so clever with the two techniques added. Love that you added sequins to cover some spots we are so clever and crafty when we mess something up to not have to toss it out. Super cute image you found too and love the awning. Great challenge.

Oh, Carla, this card is so adorable with the girl in her cookie shop making delicious cookies! I'm amazed at how you combined the two technique challenges with this Way To Use It challenge! You did a remarkable job on this card, and I love it!!

I love your awning card made into this girl's little bake shop!! SO cute!! I liked your story about your grandmother and her cookies and the bowl. I think my first warm memories came from my Grandma when we would go to visit her in FL during Christmas time. It's wonderful to have those memories. Thanks for sharing!! :>)

Way to go combining both the TLCs, Carla. The awning is perfect for your sweet cookie stand, and I love the fun inside, especially the second panel. We've just been walking through a Christmas market, this would have fitted in perfectly!

How adorable is this! Miss Carla every inch of this is fabulous. I keep scrolling back for another look and see something new each time. I love this to bits.

SO cute Carla and such a great challenge... We are getting lots of good and tasty recipes along the way. I must share them with DH since he is the one who likes to bake a little. Love the awning. DH would agree.... you can't have a cookie without some milk.

Totally fun cookie shop! and a triple whammy card with all those techniques rolled into one. I would never have known the sequins were to cover drips - They are just perfect accents for your images.
