Editing to add, this is not a die cut, but an embossing folder that I fussy cut.
A totally lovely color combination today, Barbara. EVERYTHING goes better with a pool party, don't you think?
It's a pretty simple card today. I used watercolor paper to dry emboss the Tim Holtz Poinsettias. Both the flowers and leaves were colored directly to paper with Gelatos...the bracts with 3 shades of red. The leaves were colored with one shade of green and then a couple of Copics. A drizzle of Stickles. It's interesting the texture of the bracts are actually the watercolor paper coming through as a pattern.
I added a pool party mat behind the Poinsettias and the traditional Spanish Greeting in the front, distressing the tag with a file. I did fussy cut the
Poinsettias.
Thanks for stopping by, may your day be filled with loveliness.

Gorgeous, Susan!! I like your title to show the poinsettias origin with Mexico. Your watercoloring with Gelatos is so beautifully done. Truly a stunning card....yes, everything looks great with Pool Party.

Beautiful poinsettias, Susan! I like that the water color paper's texture shows through. Wish we could have one in my home, but we have a cat who likes to eat plants and these are poisonous

You did a wonderful job cutting these babies out, Susan! I know that took patience to achieve the look you got! Pretty flowers and greens...I like the way they pop against the pool party bg frame~
