I used my newest Poinsettia ornament today. I added several TH distress inks to my kraft mat and spritzed with some water. I smooshed my watercolor paper into it until I achieved the look I wanted to die cut my poinsettia from. ( 3 layers of poinsettia come with the ornament). I diecut the branch but left it into the background while I colored it with several Copics. I diecut the ornament from the front and the base card at the same time. Once I made a few passes, I took the front out and it was easy to realign the ornament die to finish cutting it from the base. I adhered some vellum behind the front and popped it up over the base. I popped up the branch then adhered the ornament into the window. I finished it off with some Wink of Stella and a little pearl center. The card on the right is the same card with the lights off and a little tea candle inside.

Beautifully created, Irene, and I love the tea candle inside. How pretty that would look on a mantle.

Your cards that light up are bound to be the star of any recipient's Christmas card collection, Irene. This CAS card is lovely and I like how you did the poinsettia to give the red different values.

Once again your engineering of these gorgeous cards blows my mind! I've never seen this done before, Irene and LOVE it! What a beautiful job you did with that poinsettia too. Looks like a "must have" on my wish list!

I love this lighted card, Irene. Great ornament die (how cool it comes with a poinsettia die too). Super card someone is sure to flip over. Hugz
