| | I made this card for the Alphabet Challenge for the letter F for Flowers and Friend. This also fits the Double Challenge to be a friend and use this week's sketch at: Sketch Challenge 620 {11/23/2016} by DCinkit at Splitcoaststampers. I did take some liberties with the sketch and I hope that is ok. I made this card after watching a Sue Wilson video and falling in love with the card she made. The problem was, I did not have one single product she used to make the card with. But, I really wanted to make that card so I went through my stash and came up with items that I thought would work well. The butterfly is punched from a scrap piece I used Ken Oliver color burst powders on sprayed with water and let dry naturally. Once dry, then I sprayed this piece with Elmer's spray adhesive, then topped with dazzling diamonds glitter. It is hard to see, but there are clouds sponged in behind the flowers and sentiment. This card was so much fun to make so I am glad I persevered in making it even though I had none of the products the video showed. |
