It's my turn to host the Mix-Ability challenge, and this week marks our 200th challenge - how cool is that?
It's a great time of year to create in bulk, so my challenge is to create a full sheet background and then cut it into 10 trading card size pieces to use for tags or inserts. I used my Gelli Plate to create a base of color, using a limited palette of acrylic paints, some snowflake masks and stamps, and some text and texture stamps. When that was dry, I sprinkled white and silver embossing powder randomly on the panel and heated it from the underside. I cut that panel into 10 ATCs and it felt a little flimsy, so I ended up trimming each piece down just a little and backing it with Neenah cardstock. The die I used was free with an order from Taylored Expressions - I cut those from label paper so I didn't have to fuss with adhesive.
I'll add my blog link in the morning. TFL!

I was just thinking I should look and see what the MIX was today... I'm all out of sync with myself even though it's not a holiday. Tags are always useful so I'll definitely try to make time to play along with this....though metric paper doesn't cut neatly into 10. A lightbulb goes on in my head as to why they are that size! Hope you had a truly wonderful Thanksgiving in your new home. Gorgeous ATCs.

I always wondered why ATC's were the size they are...now I know LOL. We only get 9 out of metric cardstock. I digress, your ATC's are fabulous Dina. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving with your family.
