For my last tags, I used backgrounds that were left over from my mixed media experimenting. The complete description of how this was done can be seen here. Since I had used a full half sheet of mixed media paper, I was able to get several tags from that background. This helped to complete my goal of 12 tags. I loved this unusual star die from Memory box. It was inlaid into the background although it was quite a struggle to cut into that.
Thank you for looking.

Nancy, the background is amazing! It looks totally different than the other one; good thinking to do a large piece to begin with. I love that gorgeous star - I've not seen it before. It's wonderful!

Your background is truly amazing and a work of art in itself Nancy. Great idea to make a large sheet that can be used for several cards or tags. I will definitely be doing that in the future! LOVE the colours and design of the background. That inlaid star is so beautiful from the shiny gold. Thanks again for sharing at my tag event!! xx

Definitely a unique star Nancy and very pretty indeed. Gorgeous background... It really makes sense to do a whole sheet and cut up as needed. Why didn't I think of it, lol..... I need to start experimenting on some backgrounds too...and not just ones I throw away. Now that is the test. Fabulous set of tags my dear.

Nancy, the bg for this tag has me swooning. : ) LOVE LOVE the colors and the patterns you achieved. The embedded gold/silver star and few concentric arcs were all that was needed to add a focal point......but it is the bg that I love. You would have a beautiful small tree just hanging the tags you have made.

love that sparkly inlaid star against that beautiful mixed media background.
You have me all revved up for next year . Staring next month I'm going to put all my mixed media backgrounds aside and make tags.
