For today's inspiration Challenge - as soon as I saw it was about bags - I thought it would be a great time to get out my long neglected In the Bag stamps and dies from PTI - but I'm short on time - so I looked through Audrie's picks - for design inspiration - and her brightly mixed colors and patterns shoe caught my eye!
I made my bag a Christmas Gift Card holder - using red dotted paper for the bag and a mix design yellow for the sentiment panel along with my stampings - knotting black and white twine through the holes on the bag.
I cut some white tissue paper with pinking shears to match the top of the bag design - and inserted the tissue and a gift card inside my little bag!

Truly a creative way to present a gift card, Julia. Love the sentiment you put on your cute bag. Bet the recipient will hold onto the bg to "regift" down the road. : )

What a cheerful bag and I love your polka dots, just like on the shoes. Pretty star, too, and the pinking shears topped it off in a fun way.

WOW! Your bag is AWESOME! I didn't even think to make a bag - duh! I'm always looking for new ways to hold gift cards, and your artsy bag is the perfect little package for them! (I was wondering who was going to be inspired by that shoe-LOL)

adorable and so on trend, Julia! We can never have too many of these treat bags in our stash. I was caught needing something at work yesterday...think I'll made a couple and keep them there. I loved those shoes. And I like your combination of colors as well.
