Pam McKay, a first-time hostess, provided us her selection for this week's color challenge, CC607. Congratulations, Pam!!!
Pam chose Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso, and Old Olive! Great choice, Pam! Dessert is fall flowers. Living in my part of Florida, I can get spring, summer, fall, and winter flowers almost all year. So I'll consider my floral image a fall flower.
For the background piece on my card, I sponged Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink onto a piece of Solar White card stock and then Early Expresso around the edges. Lightly covering the SU Cheesecloth Background Stamp with Early Expresso ink, I stamped the image onto the sponged piece.
The floral image is from the ODBD Forever Friends stamp set, and I inked the stamp with black ink and stamped it onto the white card stock. Using copics that are close in color to those chosen, I colored the image. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the floral center.
Using the ODBD Lavish Layers Dies, I cut out the image and a piece of Early Expresso card stock and mounted the pieces with foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the same die set to cut out the Old Olive frame on which I attached my sentiment.
Thanks for viewing and commenting!!

Bev,
this is absolutely stunning! What jumped out at me first with that beautiful large flower with the sparkling center, it's just magic! I love the delicate background you achieved with the cheesecloth and your gorgeous sponging!

Bev, your card is a beauty. I love the cheesecloth background you stamped and, of course, the flower is gorgeous. The angled panels look great.
