When I have "leftovers" from projects, a lot of times I just can't throw them away! After my previous "salty" card, I looked the the salt and loved the beautiful blue color it had from absorbing the ink. So I thought I'd try recycling it for another background. I sprayed watercolor paper heavily with water, sprinkled the blue salt onto it, then sprayed Perfect Pearls heavily and let it dry! It's really pretty IRL.

I am with you I hate to throw something out that would look great on a card and this is one excellent example. So pretty! I have a paper towel that I have been using to soak up ink and I am going to use it to cover a card with the felted CS technique from Patty's challenge because I loved that challenge.

Your technique turned out beautifully, I love the soft color on this card! A beautiful bow holds a spectacular shaker ornament! So very well done for this challenge!
