I stamped & colored the owl, and glued him to a red oval I had die cut. After adhering my patterned papers to a red mat, I laid the oval on, to help determine placement of my greeting. I then stamped that in Versafine, directly on the patterned paper strip. I felt the letters were bold enough, especially in black, to stand out. I created a little Santa hat out of felt, and glued it to the card with fabric glue. I also glued on a little white pompom. I just think the expression on his face, like he's looking up at that hat and thinking, "Good grief," plays off the greeting so well!

Wonderful DP you used on your owl card and what a wonderful owl too. Love the addition of the Santa hat to create a Christmas card. This is so fun. Thank you for playing along.
