This is for Lori's "Hard Candy Christmas" Falliday Fest Challenge. I so enjoyed her story of her grandmother's strawberry candies. It got me thinking of the chocolate candies that we used to make with my grandmother--with the chocolate melts and the plastic molds. She had so many cool molds and so many colors of chocolate! I know that chocolate isn't a hard candy, but I can tell you how HARD is was to wait for those chocolates to HARDEN in the fridge!
I personally liked the milk chocolate the best, but I always loved the look of white chocolate accents on dark chocolate, so that's what I've created here. I remember painting the details of the mold with white chocolate and then filling with dark chocolate. We would make so many chocolates and then package them up and give them as gifts. That's why I chose this stamp "from our family to yours". It reminds me of giving chocolates that I made with my family as gifts to friends.
