We are beginning to feel the change in "season" here in South Florida. We are fast approaching November, my favorite month of the year when the temperature and humidity start to fall a bit. And what a great time to start working on fall and Thanksgiving cards with this sweet newly remixed digital image. I love wreaths (as I know some of you do), and I love the two sentiments that come with this set. I decided to keep my first card very simple so I can make a bunch of them. And I will definitely be using the "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment for other cards I send. These are going to be easy to make. And I really love the Scripture verse that is perfect any time of the year. When isn't it a good time to be thankful?
After resizing and placing my wreath and verse, I grouped the two images, copied and pasted them three times to print four on a page. I colored the leaves first, and then I colored the berries yellow and finished off by adding just a dot or so of the red. It's small but very easy to color, and I found some images that look similar. Again, it's extremely simple, and it almost seems too simple and plain to me. I actually struggled with all sorts of "extras" but always came back to the CAS...feels far too CAS for me! But check out "Take Two" of this digital image. It was far more fun, and I personally like it better.
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! And I hope you are enjoying the beautiful colors of the leaves as they are changing. Enjoy them for me! Hugs, sweet friends!

I love it. I think you got the dimensions of the wreath perfect. The thin red border layer (that you always rock btw) makes for a perfect frame for an image with thin branches.

Cheryl, this card is very striking with the beautifully colored and gorgeous image. The simplicity of it makes it so wonderful! It appears that it took some time to color all the berries and leaves, but you sure did a wonderful job! I love the Bible verse, and I say Amen, my friend!! I am so thankful for my sweet sister in Christ!! I hope your hand is healing!!
