As an American, I'm ashamed I've never read our Constitution (in full) and with this contentious election, I've downloaded our constitution. Jeanne's falliday challenge for a patriotic card is my inspiration.
With this said, I printed several pages after reformatting the font and size and used a mid-tone grey.
*Rubbed panel with DI vintage photo for some aging
*Ran thru Darice cracked ef
*Cut Liberty Bell with Cricut, used DI and glimmer sprays for some distressing and aging
*Assembled bell and popped up with foam tape and twine for dimension
*Vellum sentiment is part of my huge stash, cut into a flag
*Black panel beneath the Constitution bg was added for contrast to card base
I love how this turned out, and although not red white and blue, it does speak to our freedom and sacrifices. I'm extremely grateful to our men and women who serve/served and sacrifice for our freedom. My DH included!
Jeanne, thank you and will be proud to support Operation Quiet Comfort.
To each of you, thank you for looking and sharing too!

What a fantastic patriotic card! I love this liberty bell and how you created it. The rope detail is so cool! Your embossed background and sentiment are perfect for this card! Love it! ~Karen.
