Thank Goodness It's Friday Technique Challenge #74: http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/ which required the use of stitching somewhere on the card.
The key feature of this card is the folded 3.75" half-circle Christmas tree. Cosmo Cricket's tutorial for how to create the tree can be found at https://goo.gl/uT0C4F . Since the tree needs two-sided pattern paper, I used two different green patterns from Recollections Festivus holiday paper pad, and glued them back-to-back using Tombow glue. The paper folding would be better with a single sheet since gluing two together makes for a bulkier fold, but my stash didn't have any green two-sided paper. After folding, I loaded up my sewing machine with gold sparkly thread and simply stitched a "garland" along the curved edges of the tree.
The middle panel was created by using Washi tape on a plain white cardstock.
The tree was attached with foam dimensionals to raised it up for added depth. All the other elements were glued.
The sentiment banner was stamped using the stamp positioner onto Real Red cardstock, and the "flag" end hand cut with scissors.
If you like more sparkle to your card, the tree can be embellished with several different kinds of bling from your stash.

Donna this card is amazing! It was definitely a favorite! I love the folded tree with the gold stitch (perfect choice for the thread!) and the washi tape panels - love them! Thanks for joining us at TGIF!
