This is for CareyÂ’s Sketch Challenge. ItÂ’s a lovely layout and one that is nice to use for Thanksgiving. The image came from a card kit (no details). Using a blender pen, I colored only the pheasant with a few subtle touches in the background. I stamped a sentiment at the bottom and sponged the edges. The medallion is cut from Autumn Spice Specialty DSP, which is a heavier paper. It coordinates with Day of Gratitude stamp set. For embellishment, I punched two small scalloped circles from the same paper. Such a wonderful sketch! Thanks for looking!

Oh, how beautiful this is for the first day of fall! Love that pheasant and the Day of Gratitude stamp set is one of my autumn favorites, right after French Foliage
Very nicely done!!

Love the way you spotlighted the pheasant! I have some of the same DSP! Always thought that was one of the prettiest fall papers SU came out with! Beautiful card!

Wow, this is beautiful! The pheasant is colored so beautifully and really stands out against the black and white barn/covered bridge. The medallions are a great touch too. Thankful you shared this with us.
