Had fun with this..spent 2 hours trying to find my feathers, which was only 4 packs. *grrr*. I wanted to do the burlap/feathers...and the key said "make me!". So...i was going to put "love" and still have it titled "key to happiness"...but then i found the pretty sticky that fit so much better. Now, the brad is slightly off, cuz i tried tying burlap twine around the card, but couldn't get it to look right...and when I put the heart there...well, the hole was off-center. but...i think it still works.

I love it! Those feathers are superb. And they pair up so beautifully with the key. I love the burlap...........it's a magic touch. and the crocheted heart is perfect. Why would you want to be straight? An awesome card for the 'H' challenge.

I think this is fantastic just the way it is. You do sound a lot like me when it comes to making a card though. It is a journey as I like to say and sometimes the route is scenic and other times, it is a bumpy ride. LOL. Back to your card- it is both rustic and elegant at the same time (which I just love!). I love everything about it! ~Karen.

Wow, I love this one. I love all of the textural elements. That key is awesome and I love the font of the Happiness. Again, it has a vintage feel to it that I adore.
Thank you, everyone! Your comments make me feel good, and are encouraging me to make more. Wish i had felt well last night/today...as usual, had another problem...seems I *might* be on another run of kidney stones, had a MAJOR pain blast this morning...if it happens again, i am heading into the ER, *not* going to let excuses get into the way.
I do have other ideas in mind...and I am hoping some hit the way i am thinking. Sadly, I think materials running out will happen before ideas on some points...but i have enough material to run for a while...but when your mind is wrapped around "black with red"...and you run out of that...sometimes it's hard to move on, til you get more of "x" item. *laughs*
