For this week's back-to-school CAS challenge, using this week's sketch for the layout.
I used to collect school relics: slide rules, abacus, slates, etc. I tried to create a slate with this card, using the frame builder cut from wood grain, and sponged with black to age it up a bit.
To keep it CAS, the sentiment is directly on the chalkboard, rather than on it's own layer.

Fantastic chalkboard image, Brenda! The outline image worked so perfectly and effortlessly for this technique, bravo! I also like the fabulous barn board framing!
