I used Gomphrena flowers and the leaves to run through with this card stock through the cuttlebug. I have done it with watercolor paper, and regular cs. Some came out really dirty looking, but I liked this more cleaner looking one. It still has a little bit on the plant material on it, so has some texture. Wonderful Challenge on Try a New Technique challenge, by K Dunbrook this week, called All Natural Impressions. I just realized the stamp set I used was perfect: Inspired By Nature.
Thanks for looking

What an interesting technique and what a fun result! I love the colors you used and I love the different colors of enamel dots too. I agree, the sentiment is made for this card. Fun! ~Karen.

What ever Gomphrena is, the impression looks like purple clover. Love it, and the colorful touches with the enamel dots! I'm wondering if purple is nature's default color, it seems to be the common denominator in the impressions. I also experienced many dirty looking results before getting a good one.

Gomphrena sounds like a condition that should be treated with antibiotics hehehe. Your card is absolutely beautiful Sharon. I love the delicate impressions and soft colours.

It is so interesting to see all the different results. A few of mine had lots of the plant materials left in the paper. It does add an interesting texture. I had never heard of these flowers before. thanks for adding a picture of them to the thread. Beautiful card and the sentiment is perfect!
