I had great fun creating this project for Art Neko...since I have a couple of stamps with bugs in jars in my stash, I wanted to find a different way of using the "caught a bug" sentiment, and came up with this...
I stamped a sentiment and ladybird on the matchbox wrapper before folding and sticking it, and another sentiment on a piece of Bazzill. I used one of the MFT file folder dies to create the little tab - and this goes into the matchbox on top of the flower and bug, so that when you open the box you just see the blue insert.
The little ladybird was stamped on watercolour paper and embossed, then coloured with an Inktense pencil. I shaped her a bit with a large stylus and popped her up on foam. The cornus is made per the instructions on the Sizzix site, but I now have brown florist's wire for wrapping round my stems and I like the look better.

Oh, Sabrina, I LOVE this! How darling is that ladybug with the flowers in the sweet box! And what darling sentiments on it. This is an extra special gift, and I love the embossed "bed" for the bug and flower and the plaid top. Sweet and loving gift! Hugs, sweet friend! You are amazing! xoxo
