Inspiration Challenge: EcoCycled
I loved this giraffe here https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/9981..._home_active_2
When I saw that, I thought of my grandson who loves giraffes and I got the idea to make a start on teacher appreciation cards as he starts school soon. I ripped a page out of an old Enid Blyton book Id kept for just such a card, photocopied it as feint as I could, die-cut into a rectangle & stamped the giraffe, sponged the background with blue inks and then stamped the leaves and clouds. I colored the clouds with white pencil, but it didn't mute it as much as I wanted, so I added white gel pen dots. Layered the washi tape words on the left.
I stamped the giraffe again on separate blender card, colored with copics, fussy cut and layered on the text. The woodgrain DP was also inspired by the background in the giraffe picture.
