This is for the Ways to Use It Challenge – Say It with Scrabble. I have some extra Scrabble Tiles for crafts, which would be cute on a card; however, I needed a card that would be easy to mail. So, I made a photocopy of the tiles. I put the Scrabble tiles on the glass top in our computer printer and put some colored cardstock over it. I lined up the word “thank” straight, but in the word “you” I purposely tilted the “U” tile. My engineer husband said he would have lined up both words straight. I like the whimsy of a crooked tile. This is going to my MIL for a birthday thank you. Years ago, we played Scrabble with my in-laws on a regular basis, so she will like this card. Fond memories. Fun Challenge. Thank you for looking.

NOW WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!!! I wasted a whole day worrying about wrecking my Scrabble game. It would have been to easy. Yours look very real and it's a great card. Thanks for the idea. (altho' now I have extra tiles)

Terrific thank you card using the tiles! I hear you about your DH - my DH is an Engineer, too, and far too practical to think artistically LOL!! I like the letters skewed!

Smart thinking Diane! I really like your card and so will your MIL. I think the tilted tiles look great, certainly more like the board when I'm playing 18 points plus a big bonus for quick thinking on making it mailable!!
