For Lori's DTGD challenge I tried the watercoloring lifting technique that was recently featured in the SCS newsletter. My first few attempts didn't turn out (I used SU! markers and ZIG clean color markers) so I finally used Distress inks. I heat embossed the fern leaves with clear powder then brushed away some of the ink using a wet paint brush. Might have to try a different brand of WC paper next time because this one pilled under too much water and the colors didn't blend as much as I'd hoped.

Wow this looks fabulous Jacqueline!!! I love the colours and effect you achieved. Thanks for the great review of products too...I will only try Distress Ink....not so sure about my dodgy watercolour paper (you know, the exclusive Chinese paper with pictures of little kiddies finger painting on the cover). I digress, this looks fabulous!!
