For Lydia's challenge I started with a piece of paper that was in my stash...I had originally made the BG with Distress inks (acetate smoosh). I stamped the flowers with Versamark and heat embossed them then colored them in with watered down distress inks. I got a little carried away and added some doodling with white gel pen and a black micron marker. The sentiment was die cut about 4 times and layered so it's dimensional. The top layer was cut out of a mirror finish paper. At first I didn't like this card - I thought I overdid it - but as I look at the different elements, it's grown on me.

This is one of those cards that would be so fun to receive! It looks so sparkly and eye-catching. I love the flower parade on the bottom, and the sentiment is simple and sweet.

You are too funny Jacqueline...there is no such thing as "overdid it". This is going onto my favourite Pinterest Board, aptly named "Weirdo Arty Stuff I love".

The doodles are wonderful! Also I'm admiring the impact of the specks of red in your smoosh.
