I watched a video by Loll Thompson, and tried her 'Stenciling with Burshos" technique. I did the Color Bursts over the stencil, sprayed it, took the stencil off and dried it. Then I went another step farther. I sponged on TH distress ink and spritzed and let it run. I am happy with the bg results! On PB, i saw the circles behind the butterflies. tfl

That is one, cool background, Rita! Love how colorful it is and that the colors blended so well without creating mud! That alone can be tricky! Awesome die cut and like the use of the solid colored paper behind it. It really unifies the whole design!

You are BRAVE my crafty friend. I love the stencil technique you used on the background, but then I gasped when I read you also sponged over this! Wow! If I had done this it would have all turned into a mess. This background is gorgeous, and I love how you popped these beautiful butterfly dies and lovely sentiment over this background. I love the sheer ribbon too - very nice! ~Karen.
