My dear friend Dawn gave me this beautiful narcissus stamp and the butterfly/bee stamps for my birthday so I knew I would use them to make a thank you card for her. I have never tried to watercolor such a large image before, and my first attempt did not work at all, but by the second attempt I was starting to get the hang of how much water to use and so forth. When they say it is a process, it really is. LOL. The butterflies are also water colored with Distress Inks and cut out with the matching dies my friend gave to me. I had the card all assembled and completed when I managed to get a smudge on it. Really? Geez! So, I stamped the bee over the smudge and colored it with markers to hide the spot. The card may look a little busy now, but that is why.

This turned out so Gorgeous! I would never guess that you are a newbie to water coloring! Oh, it does take time to figure it all out; been there done that. I've never used distressed inks...I normally use blender pens and ink pads to water color on water color paper. Your design is very attractive~
