I made this thank you card for several of my co-workers who went above and beyond for my retirement party and I wanted them to know how truly grateful I was for what they did for me. The background DSP is open stock from Hobby Lobby. Using rust-colored suede paper, I layered the Marianne border die with the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags die . Die cut the Cheery Lynn acorn and leaf from copper metal that was sponged with Tim Holtz alcohol inks to add some color and dimension. Once all the layers were in place, then die cut the Thanks die from gold mirror cardstock. This card actually looks so much nicer in real life than it does here in this picture.

Some really great ideas here. I wouldn't have thought to layer diecuts like this, but it's beautiful! I hear you on how much nicer it looks in real life - textures are hard to capture in photos - but I can tell it's a beauty! Congrats on your retirement, too!
