So, I tried out this plaid technique: http://timholtz.com/12-tags-of-christmasday-3-2/
Didn't go nearly as well as I planned and it's been sitting on my table waiting for waiting for a sketch to use it with. This one was perfect!
My second problem after my plaid wasn't really plaid was that I couldn't stamp onto the glossy cardstock. I tried to stamp some spots using Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Memento ink but it wouldn't dry. I ended up just wiping it off with a baby wipe and it's kind of cool how it left just white spots.
Anyway, I need some advice. Is there a different kind of ink I could have used to stamp on this glossy cardstock and has anyone successfully performed the plaid technique and have any pointers?

Beautiful! Love the plaid including the white spots for added interest. You could try Staz-On ink .. it is supposed to stay on anything. I might also try Jet Black Archival ink. If is doesn't dry, you can heat emboss it.
